New Polish Women’s Wave
Three fundamental voices of contemporary Polish music creation in a programme performed by the Spółdzielnia Muzyczna ensemble, one of the most prominent groups in the field of new music. The works of Agata Zubel, Barbara Zach and Żaneta Rydzewska explore new sonic languages, combining instrumental writing, timbral experimentation and a profound sensitivity to sound and its narrative potential. The programme offers a journey through some of the most innovative trends in contemporary composition in Poland, with the premiere of Agata Zubel’s Multi-Headed Dragon as one of its main highlights.
